Here is a tiny glimpse of life in Brechtopia, home of Josh, Gail, and Elijah. We hope you enjoy the stories and pictures. You can find more photos of our world at: http://picasaweb.google.com/gailbrecht Thank for visiting!
We are a family of 3. Mom and Dad (Josh and Gail) are youth directors and also in a band called Fuller Still. We love our new baby boy, Elijah and he is the reason for this blog.
Our friend Mr. Justin has a blog if you'd like to check it out.
Our friends Ryan and Laura have a blog of their mission work in Ecuador.
We had Nate Dorsing over during the day this Monday and Tuesday. He and Elijah played together and had a lovely lunch of bananas and grilled cheese at Casa de Brechtos. They had a great time making faces at each other and talking about the weather and their favorite toys and music.
Elijah smiled and laughed at Nate
who smiled and laughed back!
We had a great time together! Elijah actually cried when Nate left on Tuesday. He was upset that his new friend had to go home.
For Easter we spent the afternoon with our friends at Fogo De Chao! We ate glorious meats and salad bar foods, followed by meats! Elijah was more interested in Cheerios, though. It was a great time.
Then we came back to our house to relax and watch the latest Doctor Who before playing music for an evening Easter service. All in all... a pretty great Easter!
The boys being totally engrossed in their Easter baskets and candy!
Elijah thinks Easter is GREAT!
Okay. It's true. This is the same Easter gift that Grandma and Grandpa Brecht got him last year, but he was only about 4 days old then, and surprisingly, he didn't remember.
